LOCAL ART PLUS FABULOUS PACKAGES

Community Kitchen will hold its annual Palette to Palate fundraiser.  This event involves a silent art auction of nearly 200 pieces of wonderful local art followed by a live auction with fabulous packages for bid.

Community Kitchen of Monroe County

Palette to Palate – May 16th

On Saturday, May 16th, Community Kitchen will hold its annual Palette to Palate fundraiser. This event involves a silent art auction followed by a live auction with fabulous packages for bid. The event will start one hour earlier than normal. At 6:00pm we will hold our annual meeting and the silent art auction will begin. As always, local artists have been incredibly generous to us by donating over 100 pieces of wonderful local art in all price ranges. Immediately following the silent auction, the live auction will commence with the following packages being auctioned:

1)     Brown County Retreat, including weekend accommodations at Stonehead & dinner at Story Inn

2)     Bloomington’s Chefs’ Challenge VIP Package - 2 bistro tickets, table & chairs

3)     Dinner Party provided for you and five friends

4)     Brown County Country weekend

5)     Pet Package, including boarding, grooming, pet toy, pet portrait, etc.

6)     Crafter’s Delight

7)     Gardener’s Package, including gift certificates to May’s Greenhouse and Twin H Nursery and other locations

8)     IU Men’s Basketball package, including two tickets to a 2009-10 season game and Coach Crean autographed basketball

9)     Children’s Birthday Bash, including magic show and children’s portrait 

Also included in this event is fabulous music provided by Merrie Sloan and Toby Purnell, along with food from over 25 local restaurants and local beverages. Palette to Palate will be held at The Clubhouse at The Fields (1333 Fenbrook Lane). Tickets are $25 and are currently available at Community Kitchen (917 S Rogers St), Rebecca & Me (2909 E Covenanter Dr), Bloomingfoods East and Bloomingfoods West.
